Tom Bartel
VP, General Manager Certification Services, Chief Privacy Officer -
Return Path, Inc.
Tom Bartel helped define email
deliverability as a service when he co-founded Assurance Systems with
George Bilbrey in 2002. He has been with Return Path since its
acquisition of Assurance Systems in 2003 where he now leads
Certification services including Return Path Certified the most widely
accepted email whitelist available today. He also serves as Chief
Privacy Officer for Return Path. He has a total of 16 years experience
working in email delivery, services, and technology including roles with
Email Publishing, MessageMedia, and DoubleClick. Tom is certified by the
International Association of Privacy Professionals as a Certified
Information Privacy Professional – United States and holds a B.A. in
Speech Communications from Colorado State University

Manish Goel Chairman OTA Board of Directors
CEO, TrustSphere
As CEO of TrustSphere, a Singapore based security solutions provider, he
has over 15 years experience in the software and services sector where
he has had a particular focus on business applications, security and
data. Prior to joining TrustSphere, he was a Director with PwC Venture
Partners - PricewaterhouseCoopers’ London based technology investment
group where he lead the Investment Selection team and was responsible
for financial technology sector investments. His earlier career focused
on strategy and M&A consulting across Asia and Europe within the
Financial Services and Technology sectors. Mr Goel holds degrees
in Commerce and Law from the University of NSW, Sydney and a Grad Dip in
Applied Finance & Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
He is also a member of the Institute of Directors, UK and chairs the
International Committee for OTA.

David Lewis Chief Marketing Officer -

Dave is responsible for executing an
overarching strategy that ties together the company’s inbound and
outbound digital messaging businesses and accelerates growth through
innovative, holistic product solutions. Dave has over 30 years of
marketing, services and business leadership in both corporate and
entrepreneurial environments, including serving as vice president of
marketing for Bizanga, VP Marketing at StrongMail Systems, and vice
president of ISP relations for email service provider Digital Impact
(now Acxiom/Digital). |

Geoffrey Noakes Sr. Director,
Symantec Corporation
Geoff is Sr. Director of Market
Development for Symantec’s Trust Services and Business Authentication
group – previously known as VeriSign SSL. Geoff has been with
VeriSign/Symantec since 2003, and has worked on a broad variety of
security-related initiatives (mainly around SSL and Code Signing) with
organizations including Microsoft, Google, and almost all OS providers,
mobile network providers, and mobile phone OEMs globally. Geoff drove
VeriSign’s early efforts leading to the definition, standardization, and
acceptance of EV SSL certs. Geoff has a BS in computer science from Cal
Poly, and an MBA in finance from USC. |

Tim Rohrbaugh Chief Information Security Officer -
Intersections Inc.
Tim is a technologist with 23 years of Government
and private sector experience. Mr. Rohrbaugh's security career started
in communication security (comsec) in the military and continued under
Government projects for CSC at NATO, DISA, NMRC as an architect, ST&E
team lead, and instructor for the information security. After leaving
Government Consulting, Mr. Rohrbaugh became a technology leader for a
consulting firm which focused on the telecommunication and nascent
eBusiness sector. After being acquired by Metamor WW, he left with the
founders to start a eBusiness consulting firm which grew quickly to fill
three offices around the US and two in Europe. As the CIO, he lead the
Centers of Excellence which included security managed services and
furthered the goal of integrating information security into the
development life cycle. Mr. Rohrbaugh then brought his information
security experience to the financial sector where he joined
Intersections Inc. as the lead for information security. Mr. Rohrbaugh's
main focus in anti-fraud, ID verification (US Patent holder) and
security architecture. His mantra is "information security is not a
science it's art." |

Te Smith

Te is responsible for branding,
media relations and all outbound marketing initiatives. She is the
co-creator of the MarkMonitor Brandjacking Index®, an often-cited
measure of online abuse trends targeting the world’s largest brands. Her
career in marketing and communications covers more than 25 years with
market-leading brands in a variety of high technology and web-based
product categories. From launching innovative companies such as Zone
Labs and Netflix to growing market share at established software leaders
such as Lotus Development Corp., Te has specialized in brand-building,
public relations and demand generation. Te holds a BA in Modern
Languages from the University of Notre Dame. Te co-chairs the
communications committee. |

Craig Spiezle, Executive Director, Founder & CEO
Craig is a widely-recognized expert on consumer
trust and the convergence/importance of online policy, privacy,
security, governance and stewardship. Recognized as a voice of reason
and a trusted advisor, Craig is on the board of the Identity Theft
Council, on the editorial advisory board of SC Magazine and on the
Federal Communications Commission’s Communication Security, Reliability
and Interoperability Council. In addition, Craig is an active member of
the Email Service & Providers Coalition, InfraGard, the International Association of Privacy
Professionals and the Anti-Phishing Working Group. Prior to OTA, Craig
spent over a decade at Microsoft, as Director of Security & Privacy
Product Management for Internet Explorer, driving the development of
anti-spam, anti-phishing, anti-malware and privacy enabling
technologies. Previously, Spiezle held various managerial positions at
Microsoft, beginning in 1992, including international channel
development, licensing and product support. During his tenure, Spiezle
pioneered research to address the digital divide. \Spiezle hold a
BS from the Rochester Institute of Technology, an MBA from Seattle
University. |

Andy Steingruebl

Andy is the manager of Internet standards and governance for PayPal. In
this role, he serves as a technical expert in systems and application
security. Andy previously managed the secure development program for all
PayPal applications including the websites supporting PayPal's tens of
millions of active customers. He has been with PayPal since 2006.

Mr. Tripi is
the Senior Director of Operations and Compliance for Publishers Clearing House (PCH), the
United States' largest and best-known sweepstakes company. He has had
many successes in a variety of operational areas including compliance,
privacy, order processing, and merchandise fulfillment. Mr. Tripi
successfully developed and implemented compliance policies and practices
that allowed PCH to expand their entrepreneurial endeavors while
maintaining a reputation as a legitimate email marketer. |

Ben Wilson General Counsel and Senior
Vice President of Industry Relations -
DigiCert, Inc.,
Ben has practiced law for over 20
years, focusing on Internet and information security. As a Certified
Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Ben has deep
expertise in the public key infrastructure (PKI) implementation, with a
focus on the identification processes used to authenticate and issue
digital certificates to PKI subscribers. He is an active participant in
the American Bar Association's Section of Science and Technology Law and
its Information Security Committee. Mr. Wilson also represents
DigiCert with the Certification Authority / Browser Forum. Locally, Mr.
Wilson has been chair of the Utah State Bar's Cyberlaw Section, and he
is a Master of the Bench in the Sutherland-Watkiss American Inn of
Court. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi from the
University of Utah in 1987 with an Honors B.A. in Economics and in 1990
with a Juris Doctorate. |

Howard A. Schmidt
Office of the President -
White House Cybersecurity Coordinator
Howard was appointed by President Obama in
January 2010 as the Presidential Cybersecurity advisor, after serving on OTA board since 2006. Howard has
had a long and distinguished career in defense, law enforcement and
corporate security spanning almost 40 years. He previously retired from
the White House after 31 years of public service in local and
federal government. Prior he was President of the Information Security
Forum and President and CEO of R & H Security Consulting LLC.
Previously, he was the CSO at
Microsoft Corporation, CISO at eBay and appointed by President Bush as the Cyber Security Advisor to the White House. |

Ken Takahashi
Vice
President Global Channels, Return Path
Inc Ken joined Return Path
in 2006 to launch the company's international operations and currently
oversees the company’s channel partner business around the world. He
joined Return Path from DoubleClick’s email division (which was later
acquired by Epsilon) where he served as Vice President of Strategic
Partnerships. In that capacity, Ken was responsible for all aspects of
global partner strategy, management and execution in addition to running
the industry's first international email deliverability team located
throughout North America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region.
His email marketing tenure started at MessageMedia and has exceeded the
decade mark. He has spent that time fighting spam and advocating on
behalf of the online marketing community around the world. Ken has been
an active leader on the board of directors to the Online Trust
Alliance. He is a frequent industry speaker, editorial contributor and
advisor to companies in the email and interactive marketing space. He
holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the Leonard N. Stern School of
Business at New York University. |

Jeff Wilbur

Jeff served as the 2008/2009 OTA Steering
Committee board representative, elected by the Steering Committee and
OTA strategic advisors. Jeff has over 25 years of experience in high
technology, all focused on bringing new, industry-transforming
communications technologies to market. He has been involved at the
founding stages of Ethernet, routing, switching, VOIP, unified
messaging, and email authentication and services in both startups and
Fortune 500 companies. He has a BSEE from Kansas State University and
MSEE from Stanford University. |
