Senior Project / Program Manager The Online Trust
Alliance (OTA) is a non-profit industry association seeking a qualified
professional with association management experience to join our team.
This is a full-time position either as an employee or on a contract basis.
The position will
report to the Executive Director and support committee chairs and members as directed.
This position is located in Bellevue, WA. The candidate may work
remote part time as mutually agreed upon.
Responsible for:

Overall association and project management including facilitating
member calls, publishing project plans and communications
-
Membership management including rosters,
documentation, communications, and supporting the Executive Director and
Membership Committee in recruitment & retention
-
Marketing & communications management to include the lead role in execution of
communication tactics including newsletters, member communications,
press releases, webinars and social media and a
contributing role in communications strategy

Committee management and editorial responsibility for
committee deliverables to include the development and maintenance of
policy and technical position papers, reflecting membership input
-
Event management including budget, promotion, venue
logistics, speaker coordination & content review (one to two major
events per year)

Education Programming - responsible for scheduling,
promoting and facilitating OTA Academy training workshops, webinars and
briefings -- establishing and maintaining an ongoing cadence
of programming which educates both members and invited guests on key issues and
trends
Desired Experience & Competencies:

Sound problem identification,
judgment, resolution and decision-making skills, often in ambiguous
situations

Ability to collaborate with
multiple stakeholders and to work effectively with executives

Capacity to handle multiple
priorities, manage deliverables to ambitious timelines while fostering
member consensus

Technical experience in email
marketing, social media, interactive marketing/advertising, cloud
computing, privacy & security, and/or mobile a plus

contract negotiations and vendor management

Non-Profit membership
development and recruitment

Excellent presentation, verbal,
technical writing & editing skills

High proficiency in common productivity and
collaboration applications, e.g. Microsoft Office, (Outlook, Word, Excel
& PowerPoint), Dreamweaver, Microsoft Expression Web Essentials, wiki’s,
web content and authoring and management tools, mailing list
administration, etc.

Marketing
Other - No relocation assistance can be
provided. Applicant must be a US Citizen or have a valid work permit and US
Passport. Travel up to 15 to 20%. Ability to lift 50 Lbs.
