Speaker Check List

1. Book a Hotel Room at the Georgetown University Hotel.   It’s over 50% sold out.  We have a low rate of $165 per night.   

2. Register as a speaker using the no-charge code OTASPEAK#1 (your name tag and title will be based on your registration).

3. Complete the speaker release form ASAP.  Email to staff@otalliance.org or fax to 425-455-0074.

   • Confirm your mailing address and cell phone.  Your info will not be shared. 

   • If you have an assistant you would like to be copied, please provide their name, email, and phone.

4. Review your bio - Let us know if you have updates.  The copy posted will be included in the event program. 

5. Add the following events to your Outlook calendar: 

   • Welcome Reception, sponsored by Mark Monitor, Wednesday Sept 22, 5:00 – 7:30 PM

   • Leadership & Speakers Dinner, sponsored by Intersections, Wednesday Sept 22, 7:30 – 9:00 PM

   • Speaker Prep & Rehearsals, Wednesday Sept 22, 9:00 – 11:00 PM

6. Promote the event.  Use our promotional graphics

   • Offer customers and partners $100 off registration. (Use code  OTAPEV$1 at check out.)

   • Issue a press release (coordinate with OTA, accredited press may register at no-charge)

   • Write a blog

   • Invite a colleague, staff or partner to attend at 50% off.   (Limit one please, use code speakstaff50 at check out)

7. Speaking Points – ·Our Thursday keynote is Greg Link of Covey/Link a partner to Stephen Covey the author of the Speed of Trust.  Greg will discuss how building trust and confidence is an imperative for a brand’s reputation, user confidence and the overall growth of ecommerce and online services.  You may wish to review this material for your speaking points.
