Karen Kontje Cresswell
Program Manager, Online Trust Alliance Initiative
Karen is the Program Manager of the OTA initiative within The Internet Society. She has over 20 years of experience helping organizations mitigate cyber security and related risks, including developing data security and privacy strategies, conducting risk assessments and audits, designing data breach response plans, responding to data security incidents, implementing policies and protocols, counseling the C-suite, and developing and delivering impactful training programs. Karen has her B.S. from N.Y. Institute of Technology, and her law degree from The Dickinson School of Law, Pennsylvania State University.
Director, Online Trust Alliance Initiative
Jeff is the Director of the OTA initiative at the Internet Society. Jeff has over 35 years of experience in high technology, all focused on bringing new, industry-transforming communications technologies to market. He has been involved at the founding stages of Ethernet, routing, switching, VOIP, unified messaging, and email authentication and services in both startups and Fortune 500 companies. He was an active member of OTA for several years prior to joining its board of directors, and was chairman of the board as OTA became part of the Internet Society. He has a BSEE from Kansas State University and MSEE from Stanford University.
