COMMITTEES, WORKING GROUPS & INITIATIVES

Advertising & Content Publishing Supply Chain Security - The committee works through the advertising ecosystem to develop and promote best practices, data sharing and solutions to help protect consumers, networks, publishers and advertisers from ad based threats including malvertising and click-fraud.

Anti-Botnet - Multi-Stakeholder efforts to help prevent, detect, notify, remediate and recover from the threat of botnets and related malicious threats. Scope includes end-user devices and the threats impacting the hosting community and data centers.

Email Security - The committee works to promote adoption of email security and authentication best practices. Goals include increasing the integrity and trust of legitimate email, while taking steps to help reduce spear phishing, spam and socially engineered email exploits.

Data Protection & Breach Readiness Planning - The development and advancement of best practices and prescriptive advice to enhance data protection practices and promote data loss and breach incident planning.

Public Policy - The multi-stakeholder committee works to help educate law makers promoting balanced legislation, self-regulation and best practices.

Server & SSL - To advance best practices in server security including best practices in data security, SSL, server security and related best practices.
